The historic Lorne Hotel continues to evolve its culinary prowess with its latest restaurant addition, Coda Lorne.
Coda Lorne is the expansion of Melbourne’s iconic Coda/Tonka restaurant group, and is located on the third level of the hotel complex. Offering ground breaking modern Asian cuisine, Coda Lorne enjoys breathtaking views spanning the verdant Otway hinterland across to Lorne’s turquoise Loutit Bay and on to Aireys Inlet lighthouse.
Under the guidance of Adam D’Sylva – Australia’s only chef anointed Young Australian Chef of the Year twice – diners delight in fine modern Asian cuisine with a distinctively local twist. The menu includes a diverse selection of seasonal seafood while incorporating Thai and Cantonese culinary themes.
Coda Lorne features floor to ceiling windows and a wraparound balcony capturing both northern light and sunsets over the eucalyptus trees to the west.
Coda Lorne’s interior space is undeniably coastal with surprising pops of modernity throughout. Designed by Pip Johnson Studio, the soft colour palette combined with copper, rattan and pale blue French linen accents provide a soothing dining experience unlike any other on the Great Ocean Road.
